2017 Summer Fete
The 2017 Summer Fete was held on 1 July at Medbourne Pavilion. We had over 30 stalls, lots of entertainment and games, and some amazing performers attend the day.
Hundreds of local residents came to enjoy the event and the weather was hot an sunny, just the way we ordered it.
We managed to raise over £1000 for our Charity of the Year: Baby Basics MK.
We’d like to say a BIG thank you to Sainsbury’s Shenley Church End for donating the cream and the jam for our Cream Teas and Costa for donating and recycling the cups we used on the day.
Another big thank you to all our lovely raffle prize donators for helping us raise so much money for a worthy cause.
Thanks to everyone who came out on the day and helped us make the event an amazing success!!
You’ll be able to find pictures from the day on our Facebook Page.
The Parish Councillors will be there and there will be an opportunity for you to talk to them about things going on
around the Parish and hopefully some of the Ward Councillors will also be around on the day.
We would like to thank everyone who helps us with this event and we look forward to working with the community once again to make the day a smashing success!
Hopefully we will see you again this year to have lots of fun and help us raise money for Charity.
If you would like more information on how to get involved with our event please see our Facebook event
or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Prizes are donated from lots of kind local businesses from across Milton Keynes. Last year’s fete raised over £1,000 for Milton Keynes Bereavement Service and we’d like to be able to raise as much, or perhaps even more this year!
For entertainment we have music from MK Brass and other fantastic local groups and performers from across Milton Keynes will also be taking part. There will be a schedule of performances available on the day as well as some amazing demos from the wonderful groups that run sessions at Medbourne Pavilion!
We will have lots of stalls with things to suit all the family including books, jewellery, toys and games, make-up, face painting, clothing, white elephant as well as some brilliant activities to get involved with.
A variety of food will be on offer from various stalls around the outside of the Pavilion and Tea and coffee will be available inside the Pavilion. There will be bouncy castles, children’s fairgrounds rides, balloon modelling and workshops with The Great Gappo as well as free play areas with games and activities to suit all ages.
